Is your body begging for a break? How about a day retreat exclusively for women interested in exploring the benefits of movement, mindfulness, breathwork and meditation to feel amazing? Join me at The Vendanta, a beautiful Grade II-listed luxury retreat centre, for an unforgettable experience.

Join me, Philipa Butler, Physiotherapist and Movement Specialist, for my unique blend of movement, mindfulness and science and enjoy a delicious and nutritious lunch. Take a day for yourself to relax and enjoy some ME TIME. Boost your health and feel calmer, stronger and more at home in your body!

My aim is for you to leave feeling happy, healthy and empowered to continue your journey to optimal health and well-being. Before we meet, I will review your online Health Questionnaire to discover your unique challenges and goals. Don’t dilly-dally because numbers are limited and payment secures your spot!

On The Day

We will enjoy a variety of movement approaches tailored to Women. Feel energised and relaxed all at once and enjoy a supportive environment to relax and boost your health and well-being. Our day will include:

  • Pilates for the ultimate core workout.
  • Learn myofascial release techniques to relieve tight muscles.
  • Experience the benefits of specific Breathing exercises.
  • Reboot your mind-body connection with Hatha Yoga for supple joints and Muscles
  • Learn the groundbreaking Hypopressive technique to support pelvic health
  • Take some free time to enjoy the Pool and Sauna.
  • Enjoy time in nature in the beautiful Lincolnshire countryside.
  • Finish the day with a sumptuous guided relaxation session; perfect for stress reduction

Food is central to wellbeing. At Vedanta, first-class vegetarian and vegan cuisine is prepared by experienced in-house chefs, using locally sourced, seasonal produce to create meals that are both hearty and deeply nourishing.

Arrive gently, settle into the space and enjoy herbal teas or coffee.
A relaxed start to meet others, breathe, and leave the outside world behind.

09:30 – 10:15 | Opening Circle

Breathe • Align • Connect
An educational and experiential session exploring breath, posture, body–mind connection and the body as an integrated system.
Setting intentions for a calm, supportive day.

10:15 – 11:00 | Start at the Centre with Pilates Your Personal “Powerhouse”

  • Awaken deep core support
  • Improve posture and spinal stability
  • Build strength from the inside out
  • Grounded, empowering and accessible.

11:00 – 11:30 | Refresh & Reset

Tea, coffee, fresh fruit, and time to rest, chat or step outside.

11:30 – 12:15 | Hypopressives Build support from the Inside

  • Breath-led practices supporting pelvic floor function, deep core strength and nervous system regulation.

12:15 – 13:00 | Hatha Yoga Top-to-Toe Stretch & Mobility

A nourishing full-body session to mobilise joints, release tension and restore ease before lunch.

13:00 – 13:45 | Nourishing Vegetarian Lunch

Seasonal vegetarian and vegan dishes prepared with the freshest local ingredients.
Thoughtfully designed to nourish both body and soul — and to be enjoyed unhurriedly.

13:45 – 15:45 | Time to Relax

Choose how you relax:

  • Sauna therapy and swimming pool
  • Mindful walk through the woodland grounds
  • Journaling, resting or socialising

Refreshments available throughout: teas, coffees, biscuits and fresh fruit — small touches that help you feel cared for.

15:45 – 16:30 | Ballet Barre Strength, Balance & Joy

An uplifting session focused on posture, balance and functional strength — light-hearted, energising and fun.

16:30 – 17:45 | Deep Release & Restore Massage Balls • Restorative Yoga • Meditation

Myofascial release, deeply supportive restorative poses and guided relaxation to calm the nervous system and integrate the day.

17:45 – 18:00 | Closing Circle

Reflection, grounding and a gentle close before departure.
