Fitness Matters More than Ever Before as we Age!

by | Dec 23, 2022 | Move to Live, Live to Move, Podcasts

Father, Coach, Legend. My dad Chris Butler, self-taught Athletics Coach to Olympic 400M runner David Grindley. Conditioning Coach for the Wigan Rugby League Team circa 1996; a prizewinning season to end all seasons. Humble, self-effacing and still at it now a ‘young’ 77!!

Fitness matters more as we age and the gains are harder to get. But don’t let that get in the way of you trying! Enjoy some home truths and wisdom from the lived experiences of someone with no privilege, no training and still exuding 100% enthusiasm and dogged determination.

Giving up is not an option! Getting up tomorrow and grabbing life by the horns is the way to go. The way to secure a fitter, healthier future is to work at it! If you need any encouragement meet the Mr Motivator of the North West. Enjoy this glimpse into my childhood experiences of fitness and movement that makes life better.
